    This has been a very emotional year for our family. (including the joyous birth of our second son and the devastating loss of my mother) How wonderful would it be to win something like this! We wouldn't normally have an opportunity for "Life Unscripted" photographs, and I would love to add them to my collection.
    Another reason I'd love to win is my husband NEVER takes pictures and I'm always behind the lens. I'd love some pictures WITH my family.
    P.S. My boys are super cute and one is even a ginger. ;)

    A little over a year ago, my life and the life of those around me were changed forever. At 29 weeks pregnant, my husband and I learned our son would be born with a broken heart; he was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). Basically only have of his heart developed. We were given no hope. It has been a long, testing journey so far but our son, Evan, is 10 months old and is happy and healthy! He has had two open heart surgeries and will need one more in a couple years; he has gone through more in a year than most will in a lifetime! We treasure every moment we have with our son and it would mean so much to my family and I to have a moment of our lives captured on film..

    As much as I'd LOVE to win this (I really do!) It sounds like Natasha has quite the moving story! Can I "vote" for her? That would be so sweet for your portfolio!

    I with Kayla. I have a very active family that includes 2 kids, 4 dogs, 2 chickens and 4 cows. But natasha definitely deserves it. To go through so much in such a short time with a baby. I vote for Natasha
